(1) to wait for 等待～
講解：to wait for 是不可分開片語，for 是介系詞

B: I'm waiting for the bus.
(A: 你正在等在什麼？ B: 我正在等公車。)

A: Will you please wait for me while I go run to the bathroom?
   
B: Sure, I'll wait right here.

(2) as usual 照常；一如往常
講解：as usual 當作副詞片語用，常放置在句首或是句尾

This morning as usual, I ordered a sandwich and coffee for breakfast.

(3) to find out 找到；發現
講解：to find out 指發現或是確認一件事實。這個片語用法比較複雜，在此我們只列出基本用法，find out 後常名詞子句，這個用法為不可分開片語。

(4) to look at 看著；注視 / to look for 尋找
講解：to look at 和 to look for 是不可分開片語，at 和 for 都是介系詞

(5) all right 可以；沒關係
講解：all right 相當於 okay 用法，中文依照上下文可翻譯成「還可以，沒關係，沒問題，沒事」等等

(你還好嗎？是的，很好，謝謝。)

I'm doing all right. I've got a new job.
(我過得還可以。我有一個新工作。)
(6) right now 現在；馬上
講解：right now 有兩個意思，分別是現在和馬上。right 其實用來強調用，就是～的意思，所以 right now 是 now 的強調語氣「就是現在；此時此刻」。right here 就在這裡，right there 就在那裡。例句二中，to deal with 是處理的意思。

You need to deal with this problem right now.
(你必須馬上處理這個問題。)
(7) little by little 漸漸地；慢慢地
講解：little by little 是副詞片語，常放置在句首或句尾

With time, little by little, you'll get used to it here.
(隨著時間，漸漸地你會習慣這裡。)
02.
My English is getting better little by little.
(我的英文慢慢地變好了。)
(8) to call on 要求；呼籲
講解：to call on 不可分開片語，要求或是呼籲某人去做～，另外也有挑選 select 的意思
句型：call on + 人 + to V... (要求某人做～)

My teacher called on me to answer the question.
(我的老師點我回答問題。)
02.
I was called on to represent my school as the class president.
(我被選為班長代表我的學校。)
03.
The government called on the public to use less water.
(政府呼籲大眾要減少水的用量。)
(9) never mind 沒關係；不要緊
講解：never mind 口語用法，說話者對某一件事情不會放在心上，要對方不要擔心

Never mind. I don't need help. I'll do it myself.
(沒關係。我不需要幫助。我自己來。)
02.
A: I didn't hear what you just said.
   
B: Never mind. It wasn't important.
(A: 我沒有聽到你剛說什麼。 B: 沒關係。不是什麼重要的事情。)
